Description
This card says that for Autistic children to achieve their potential in school, teachers need to collaborate and communicate effectively with their parents, who may also be Autistic or neurodivergent. It cites 83% heritability in research studies (Sandin et al., 2017), over a gentle blue gradient with small stars. I hope it helps schools see that working with families, and understanding the neurodivergence in them, makes a real difference. It could go in a staff room, in teacher training or in a parent newsletter.
