I made this map as a visual way to talk about the ideas and attitudes Autistic people so often have to travel through. It is drawn as an island with places such as the Mountains of Misinformation, the Marsh of Masking, the Sandstorm of Stigma, the Dunes of Deficit Metaphors and the Canyon of Cures & Eugenics, with a Harmful highway running through it. It could open a conversation in training, a staff room or a social media post, and it carries the Stimpunks logo as well as mine.
