Description
I made this Venn diagram to show how autism and OCD overlap and differ, with monotropism at the centre. Autism covers monotropic flow, sensory differences, communication and social differences and routines. OCD covers unwanted thoughts and urges, compulsions, and reassurance and fixating. The overlap covers looping thoughts, sensory perception and heightened anxiety. It is offered to open conversations, not as a medical or therapeutic model.
