Description

This graphic shows my personal concept of the Autistic experience of OCD loops of thought in a monotropic channel. It shows a cycle of obsessive thoughts, compulsions and a melt and freeze pattern around a snowflake, where anxiety makes you feel stuck or frozen, and compulsions help it melt for a little while until another cycle starts. I have shared it as an idea open for further discussion and exploration. It may be useful for Autistic people, families and professionals who want a new way to talk about OCD and monotropism.
