Description
Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) is one of the 222 words in the Neuro-Affirming Glossary of Key Words and Terms (2026 Edition). This card has the word, its short definition and its symbol, as a 1080 × 1080 PNG for screens, slides, handouts or social media. The card reads:
“An intense emotional pain set off by real or perceived rejection, criticism or a sense of falling short. The term was popularised by ADHD psychiatrist William Dodson in articles from 2016 onwards (Dodson, 2016, 2017) and is widely used in ADHD and Autistic communities. It is not a formal diagnosis and has little research behind it so far, though years of rejection and criticism can make it harder to bear.”
Pay what you like for a single card, from £1 (suggested £2). If you would like every card, the Neuro-Affirming Glossary 2026 Bundle includes the e-book and the complete 222-card deck, with print files and A4 posters. All 222 words are also free to read on the Glossary page.
