Description
A spoon theory graphic that uses school-day examples to show how everyday tasks use up limited energy. Getting out of bed, brushing teeth and texting friends cost one spoon, showering, breakfast and packing a school bag cost two, and getting dressed, catching the bus and assembly cost three. It explains that we each have a limited amount of energy, that different people use different numbers of spoons, and that spoons need careful managing for good mental health. It credits Christine Miserandino (2003).
