Description

“The ability to hold a few pieces of information in mind while using them, such as keeping instructions in your head while carrying them out (Baddeley & Hitch, 1974). Many Autistic and ADHD people are monotropic, so attentional resources may be distributed differently, especially when anxious or overloaded. Written steps, lists, visuals and reminders help. It is a difference in how attention is spread, not carelessness.”
