A tall infographic in my monotropism series. It says that if you are Autistic, ADHD or AuDHD you are more likely to be monotropic, and that simultaneously holding eye contact and making conversation can feel uncomfortable. It adds that you may have to hyperfocus on something in order to communicate and keep an attention channel flowing, and shows a view through a tunnel towards the light. It credits the Monotropism Questionnaire (Garau et al., 2023) as its inspiration. It is useful for families, teachers and colleagues, and works well as a social media story or a slide.
