How do we create a world where Autistic people don’t just survive but thrive? At Autistic Realms and Stimpunks Foundation, we believe it starts by listening to Autistic voices and validating lived experiences and sharing stories.
Our Map of Monotropic Experiences training offers a radical reframe: Autism is not a deficit to fix, it’s a different, deeply valuable way of being. Built on the theory of monotropism, this free training explains how Autistic and ADHD minds focus deeply, why flow states are vital for wellbeing, and how environments often create “stuck states” that lead to exhaustion and burnout.
You’ll explore:
Monotropism and authentic Autistic identity
How neuronormative domination shapes barriers
The power of community connection and shared experience
Strategies to help create environments where all minds can thrive.
Through our metaphors like Burnout Whirlpools and Marshes of Masking, the Map highlights real systemic challenges but also points to paths of pride, joy, and belonging. This training is perfect for educators, professionals and community groups.
Join us. Validate Autistic experiences. Build community. Reframe Autism through a neurodiversity-affirming lens.
